I am a freelance web developer by day and a Victorian scholar by night.  That probably makes me an old-fashioned girl and a modern woman in equal parts.

In my spare time, such as it is, I also run Victorian Secrets, a small publishing company dedicated to making neglected nineteenth-century novels available to the modern reader, and a website on Florence Marryat.

I live in Brighton with my partner, three cats, and thousands of (mostly Victorian) books.
