I’ve been paying a bit more attention this week, and have spotted a few Victorian stories out there in the blogophere. Being a public-spirited girl, I’ve decided to share:
- Mrs Gaskell finally gets her rightful spot in Westminster Abbey
- Vulpes Libris reviews Justine Picardie’s Daphne. A new novel, but with a Bronte theme
- The Victorian origins of hooliganism (I’m ashamed to say that they appear to have invented it)
- Ludlam’s Electric Rubber – I’m not sure how to begin explaining this one, so just read the blog post for yourself
- The Edgar Allan Poe Digital Collection is now online. Let’s hope they give some other writers the same treatment
- I don’t think she’d be amused: Queen Victoria vs the Zombies
- A new blog on late-Victorian women writers
That’s all for now, folks.
